So for a while I have been involved in theatre productions (since 2012, on and off). My first experience is with Secret Cinema presenting Prometheus. I learnt that Secret Cinema presented shows/films produced before the 1990s, the old classics they say. With Prometheus being the first modern film to work on, they had a team of artist, designers and volunteers to pull off a spectacular display of a giant spaceship by making use of all the spaces, walls, rooms, corridors inside the building, remodelling it all to look high-tech and futuristic. They also hired actors to play character roles from the movie and play it out for the audience, whether it is being a super sneaky villain and team up with some of the audiences (and they are allowed to shout in their faces, it's part of being immersive).
What impressed me was the excitement from the audience and the production crew. The energy and the honour of being the start of an innovative and contemporary 'immersive' theatre. This new theatre became my interest to the present day. They’re website is www.secretcinema.org Photographs are taken by me while I was there as a volunteer.
