Through researches, experiments and documentation, the most interesting aspects of this project was the academic language barrier when students studying different subjects interact with each other through studying each others knowledge. The terminology becomes the main focus of interest.

Terminology CardsThe zombie project was about education but the students specifically. What I thought was interesting was when students from different fields interact. Then I thought about the terminology usage in different subjects. I saw the language styles from Design to other subjects and that listening to a different students, makes me feel foreign.
I wanted to explore more into the terminology usage from different subjects and discover the common aspects or what makes the different subjects “get along”, intertwine, connect. |
The object of interaction is a deck of cards designed to initiate communication and learning.
There are a total of 43 cards split into 3 categories: 14 illustrated red cards for Graphic Design students/profession, 14 illustrated blue cards for Computer Science student/profession, 14 white cards with terms and double definition and 1 rule card.
The setup is having the blue and red cards laid out and visible for both students. The white cards are in a pile and facing down.
To start, a white card reveals a word and double definition and both students pick a picture card that matches. The aim is to get the students to interact by curiosity.
